Sean Williams 

Regional Director

Based in Boston, Massachusetts Sean joined CEA CAPA in 2021 where he works with institutions across New England. 

After a decade of experience in law, finance, and technology at Goulston & Storrs, John Hancock, and Financial Times Interactive, Sean dedicated his profession to international education and global career development. Over the past 15 years he has held several leadership roles in university relations, employer relations, global internship program management, and international student services at EUSA Academic Internship Experts, Intrax Cultural Exchange, and CEA Study Abroad.

Most recently Sean was an Assistant Director of Career Services at The Fletcher School, Tufts University where he counseled students pursuing opportunities in global affairs and international business around the world. He also led the development and instruction of their Professional Development Program course.

Sean has a degree in Government from Connecticut College, spent his junior year abroad at Oxford University, New College, and attended graduate school at the London School of Economics where he studied the Economic History of Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Sean also has an Executive Education degree in Non-Profit Management from Columbia Business School.

In his free time, Sean enjoys running, biking, and listening to Jazz music, as well as spending time on the beach with his family and friends on Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod during the summer months.

  • A native Bostonian, faithful fan of the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots
  • Lived in England for 2 years,  New York City for 4 years
  • Collector of art, records, wine, and watches
  • Longtime interest in Jazz, drums, and percussion (grandfather played the drums for Duke Ellington for 11 years)
  • Best travel experience: renting a car with friends and seeing 12 cities in 3 weeks in Spain
